In this challenge we had to look at composition and how to create good composition so that an image can be visually pleasing to viewer. We also looked at different types of compositions like rule of thirds and the golden ratio.
The first task we had to do in this challenge was to create 8 black and white thumbnail sketches that will clearly indicate foreground, midground and background using value. These sketches are shown below.
The next task we had to do was to create 4 photographic compositions based on rule of thirds using photos provided. These images are shown below with the before and after.
The final task we had to do was to create 8 abstract compositions using basic shapes to convey simple ideas like balance, direction and scale. These images are shown below.
